Wheat Country Special Needs Society has been an active part of Vulcan County for 34 years.
[expand title="View More"]Theirs is truly a just purpose in providing the best possible circumstances and care for individuals living their lives with an array of disabilities. A beautiful legacy which now has turned to another locally run and operated organization, SODA Channel, the first and only rural-community online-broadcast television production society in the world operated completely by individuals with disabilities.
SODA, or Speaking Out for the Disabled Actively, a group by and for those same individuals, provides a much deserved voice. The SODA Channel offers an equal opportunity environment to learn and to participate, not only in the art of production, but also in terms of assisting with the development and growth of their community.
